The Best Restaurants in Asheville, North Carolina

Ah, Asheville – a beautiful city in Western North Carolina that is growing in leaps and bounds. Not only is it known for its art, colorful people, and the Biltmore Estate, it’s known for its fabulous selection of top-notch restaurants. In this article, we will mention the best restaurants found in Asheville for those who crave a delicious bite to eat in this city.

1. Biscuit Head

Are you craving a delicious breakfast that includes a biscuit as large as your head? Then you simply must stop by Biscuit Head in Asheville. Not only does the menu contain amazing breakfast food items such as bacon, eggs, grits, and fried green tomatoes, Biscuit Head leaves behind as little of a carbon footprint as possible. Everything they use is compostable or recyclable.

2. Laughing Seed Cafe

One feature of Asheville that is truly wonderful is that there are plenty of vegetarian residents. So naturally, there are restaurants that appeal to those who abstain from eating meat. One of these fabulous restaurants is Laughing Seed Cafe – a location that is dedicated to delicious vegetarian options. Dishes on the menu include jalapeno onion fries, the seed burger, dragon bowl, and spinach pesto manicotti. So when in Asheville, skip the meat and stop by the Laughing Seed Cafe. Vegetarian food never tasted so good.

3. Wicked Weed

Another excellent restaurant in Asheville, North Carolina is Wicked Weed, a location that celebrates King Henry VII. Not only is the food absolutely delectable, the selection of beer is top-notch as well. When I lived in Asheville, I stopped by Wicked Weed frequently due to how amazing the options are. I recommend the classic beef burger when it comes to food, and if you enjoy a drink when you go out to eat, you can’t go wrong with the Tyranny Red IPA.

4. India Garden

While there are quite a few Indian restaurants located in Asheville, India Garden is my personal favorite. Located outside of the downtown area of Asheville, parking is much easier. As for the menu? Delicious options that I recommend include the garlic naan bread and chicken curry. You can also enjoy an inexpensive lunch buffet between the hours of 11 AM and 3 PM.

In conclusion, one of the best features of Asheville is the wonderful selection of restaurants. If you are able, we highly recommend trying all of these eateries. You’ll be sure to want to come back again and again!
